THE

PERSHING PROJECT

WELCOME TO THE PERSHING PROJECT

The Pershing Rifles and Pacific Film Foundations bring to the screen a very personal story of General of the Armies John J. “Black Jack” Pershing, Commander-in-Chief of the American Expeditionary Forces (A.E.F.) in World War I. It is important for the world to fully understand the motivating factors and events that shaped his exceptional life and career.

With the approaching centennial of the United States involvement in World War I, the “War to End All Wars,” the Pershing Project seeks to educate audiences about the achievements of General Pershing, one of the United States’ most accomplished, yet somewhat unknown military commanders.
